Case Study # 1
A 38 year old female admitted with chest pain. An angiogram revealed double vessel disease with 80% stenosis in the proximal LAD, just beyond the origin of a large first diagonal artery (see left angiogram below).

An attempt to dilate the lesion in LAD was unsuccessful, therefore a 3.0 x 11mm ChromoFlex stent was implanted with good angiographic results and no complications (see right side angiogram above).
Case Study # 2
A 50 year old male with a history of myocardial infarction, bypass surgery, and advanced native triple vessel disease presented with angina. An angiogram revealed a totally occluded LAD with functioning LIMA beyond that, a totally occluded proximal circumflex beyond the first obtuse marginal, and a totally occluded RCA (see left side angiogram below). A vein graft to the lower postolateral circumflex artery had a 99% stenosis, and another vein graft to the right coronary PDA was chronically occluded.

Two sequential 3.0 X 20mm ChromoFlex stents were implanted following PTCA of the circumflex vein graft lesion. An excellent angiographic result (see right side angiogram above) was achieved with good pro grade flow.
